GLOBAL SOURCING MANAGER - Suzhou

excellent location: Suzhou

Key Responsibilities:

·        responsible for the global sourcing management

·        follow the global sourcing procedure, seek and develop vendors then work with supplier quality development team to qualify suppliers

·        negotiate with suppliers to maintain pricing list, MOQ, lead time and make sure continuous and consistent supply

·        work with related department in china to identify and execute product and raw materials localization projects; continuous to increase the local sourcing rate

·        contribute to team’s cost saving target by re-negotiation, re-source suppliers, value optimization etc

·        continuously improve working capital by improve payment terms, and shorten the lead time with the suppliers

·        assist and accompany internal stakeholders’ supplier visits in china upon request

·        regularly visit and audit suppliers and maintain supply base

·        develop the local competitive supplier for European companies

·        coordinate the European sourcing demand

·        driving the global saving project

·        team management

·        other task assigned by leader

·        technical university degree (mechanical or electronics engineering etc)

·        above eight years working experience in sourcing management, especially the machining, sheet metal, metal extrusion and so on, above five years global sourcing experience in mechanical enterprises

·        familiar with ISO/TS16949 and five tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)

·        outstanding communication and coordinating ability and open personality to push improvement aggressively

·        strong statistics and analysis capability with persuasive presentation

·        excellent English skill of listening, reading, writing and speaking

·        responsibility, excellent communication ability

·        ability to work under pressure and travel frequently
