JOB  TITLE
Title: Category Manager
Report  to (superior): Sourcing  Manager
Responsible  for (subordinate):  None
PURPOSE  OF THE JOB
Summarize the purpose of  this position to access its expected contribution to results of the  organization.
To carry out sourcing activity to achieve  department KPI.
KEY  RESPONSIBILITIES
Explain  the permanent objectives to be achieved by the position
1.  Manage sourcing activity for assigned  Category/Project.
2.   Search for potential supplier and  request for quotation, and quotation analysis
3.  Set up localization  plan together with sourcing manager and follow up the plan.
4.  Responsible for initial supplier assessment.
5. Support global category  manager for commercial negotiation including purchase agreement, condition,  price and payment term etc.
6. Close work with SQE to  ensure the project on-time completed.
7. Work with Global Category manager to set up yearly cost reduction plan and performed it.
8. Set up/maintain purchasing  data into AX system.
9. Continuous optimize supply base, maintain supplier relationship.
KEY  REQUIREMENTS
Explain  the requirements of the position
1.   Bachelor degree with  engineering background ;
2.   At least 3 years  working experience in sourcing field of automotive industry.
3.   Related commodity knowledge is preferred.
4.       Good  English both in oral and written;

WORK  ENVIRONMENT: such as work base, frequency of traveling, etc.

1.  Frequent travel is required.

REQUIREMENT  SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education Background:

Major:  Mechanical engineering           Degree:  Bachelor

Professional Experience

Working area: Sourcing Experience in  automotive industry: at least 5 yrs, category knowledge.

OTHER  REQUIREMENT: such as language, computer skills, etc.

Language:

Good spoken and written English
